Why Maxpe exists.
Most of what sustains modern life — the technologies that make buildings work, the land that holds water and timber and minerals, the infrastructure of physical things working as intended — is built and stewarded by people you've never heard of. The work is often excellent. What's missing, reliably, is the apparatus that lets it reach the customers who need it, the capital that should fund it, and the operating attention it deserves.
Maxpe exists to be that apparatus. One AI-native platform, available to technology partners who have done the hard part of inventing or engineering something real, and to landowners and capital partners working at the long horizon hard assets require.
What we're building.
Maxpe is structured as a holding platform with two operating arms. The technology arm runs distribution for vetted physical products. The land arm acquires and stewards hard assets in the Northeast — timberland, water rights, geological resources — for multi-decade horizons. Both arms share one architecture. Each new partner plugs into a system that already works. Each new deployment makes the system more capable for the partners and assets already inside it.
This is not a services business and not a consultancy. We do not sell hours. We do not build a new apparatus for every partner. We run one platform, and we bring technology partners onto it under terms that let them keep doing what they do best while we run the amplification layer.
A note from Dan.
I've spent my career selling real things to real people — water systems, real estate, commercial technology that has to actually work for the customer to pay for it. What's changed in the last few years is that the tools exist, finally, to run a distribution operation at a scale that used to require an army. I don't need the army. I need a product worth selling and the infrastructure to sell it the way it should be sold. Maxpe is that infrastructure. If you've built something real and you're tired of watching it move slower than it should, come talk to me.
Where we are.
Technology arm: first product line in distribution. Corporate infrastructure live. Second product line in partnership discussion. Land arm: thesis live, acquisition pipeline active, first close in diligence. Platform architecture generalized and in production across both.
This page will get longer as Maxpe does. For now, the honest summary is: the first version of what we set out to build works, and we're bringing the next partners onto it.
